Why choose a Jewish Day School?
Jewish Day Schools offer a unique combination of exceptional academics and experiential learning. Our curriculum is developed to meet the highest standards of math, science, literacy, and social studies, while also including a full range of STE(A)M, music, public speaking, second language, executive functioning, and physical education opportunities.
At each school, our teaching teams work together to integrate social-emotional skills and Jewish values into everyday learning, and help students develop a growth mindset across everything they do.
Our small class sizes allow each child to take an active role in their own education, whether through experiments, group projects, or peer-led discussions. And, because of our low student-to-teacher ratio, each child receives the support and encouragement they need to thrive.
About Our Collaborative
NorCal Jewish Day Schools are a collaboration of private Jewish Day Schools across the Bay Area and Northern California who’ve come together to help more families understand, and access, the benefits of a Jewish education.
Over the years, we've recognized that many parents aren’t aware that Jewish Day Schools are a highly-regarded option for their kids. Some have questions about how our academics differ from what they’ve encountered in the past, and how Jewish values are integrated into learning across all subjects. Others want to be sure that families from all backgrounds are welcomed, and will find a sense of belonging, within our communities.
